Feeding Georgia’s Farm to Food Bank program is connecting local farmers with families across all 159 counties, ensuring fresh, nutritious food doesn’t go to waste. With a new $1 million grant, the program will purchase surplus crops from Georgia growers and expand access to healthy produce in 104 rural counties. Together, we’re reducing food waste, supporting farmers, and nourishing communities statewide.
Feeding Georgia has been awarded a $1 million grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation to strengthen food access and support Georgia farmers through the Farm to Food Bank program. This investment comes at a critical time as food banks across the state face rising demand and reduced federal resources, ensuring that more families receive fresh, Georgia-grown produce.
